Find a Quiet Space
We want to make sure the focus is on you! To do so, find a quiet space (ideally with carpet) and silence all phone and computer notifications. If possible, I also recommend avoiding jewelry while recording as it can be distracting to the listener.
Grab a Mic
Sound quality is one of the most important aspects in making sure the listener has a good experience. As a minimum requirement, I kindly ask that you please use a headphone mic (like the pair that comes with an iPhone). This will be recorded as audio only, so once you have your headphone mic, get as cozy as you'd like!
Think: Actionable, Specific, and Encouraging
For the show, many of my listeners are struggling with making wellness a priority in their lives. They are mostly young professionals putting work and home life before their personal wellness. My goal is to bring mindfulness to the importance of mind, body, and spirit.
With that, they are craving actionable and practical advice. The more you can think of practical tools to help them on their wellness journey, the better!
